Summary: This is a beautiful property which is immaculately looked after. Joseph comes to clean the pool every morning but never intrudes or disturbs. We were made to feel very welcome - for example we would wake to find he’d left local breakfast treats for us most mornings. It’s a short walk to Bonagia where there are shops, bars and restaurants. Also very handy for Erice which is stunning. Absolutely gorgeous in every respect.

Summary: we stayed at this house for 7 nights in mid October and we had 5 people - one couple, another adult and two kids.  Firstly, it is much bigger and nicer than I expected.  the garden is well maintained and absolutely a good feel.  it also had a view that I didn't expect, which was also a nice bonus (although the view is slightly obstructed by an unfinished building).   Joseph was an amazing host.  he was so attentive to every detail.  from the beginning he was extremely responsive to any questions.  upon arrival the house was spotless and he even had drinks and snacks for us for the the week, including the kids.   the pool is amazing and Jospeh came every couple of days to clean it and the whole pool area.  At most of the other houses where we stayed in during our trip we were responsible for cleaning the pool. General note. Pools are normally never heated in Sicily. whenever he came to clean the pool, he also brought some lovely breakfast pastries for us. in general the house has 2 large bedrooms with double beds and lots of storage space.  each room also has a small tv.  there is a large lounge / dining area where another single bed or I think also a double can be placed.  this is the common room and also has a TV and door to the porch where there is a view.  there is also a kitchen with a table and access to the outdoor patio that also has a table and is surrounded by the beautiful garden.  there is a large bathroom and also laundry facility.   There is no internet as others have mentioned. It is not a major and you can get a card at Vodafone in Trapani. We had a few issues/wait to do so, but in general is a good option. Even w an Italian number, you can still use WhatsApp and other apps with your standard mobile number the house is in a good location to reach various points of interest - Erice, Trapani, Marsala, San Vito, Lo Zingaro and other great beaches.   The town has some good places to eat within 5 minutes drive, a few grocery stores, bakeries and a great gelato shop. I would happily stay there again if we had the right number of people to make it work.  Joseph was the best type of host and willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything was more than enjoyable.

Summary: Joseph is just the sweetest. He texted a few days in advance for arrival time, address, and answer any questions via WhatsApp. Upon arrival, Joseph was waiting for us. He showed us his beautiful villa and grounds. He helped us order pizza as well since we had a late arrival. The house is impeccable and very welcoming. Joseph had refreshments and goodies for us upon arrival. He brought us pastries as well, which my girls loved. One downside is no WiFi.....but we enjoyed being unplugged for the weekend. 4G worked throughout the house. We hope to return in the spring. Thank you for having us Joseph!

Summary: In miiddle of May we spent a week in this wonderful villa. The building is in a very good state, the interior. The interior is very clean, well equipped with everything you need for living and to cooking. The best is the garden with a lot of fruit trees and olive trees, and esp. the pool, which is big enough for swimming.. A special thank to our host, Josef Lantini, who gave us a warm welcome. He took care of the property and helped us to settle some problems with the authorities. We can recommend this villa without any reservation. We will come back. Ulrich W.

Summary: The villa was beautifully presented, with lovely gardens and pool area. From the villa, it was easy to travel to Erice and Trapani. Joseph, the manager, was a perfect host. He was extremely friendly and helpful and made the whole experience even more memorable. We highly recommend this accommodation.

Summary: The villa was perfectly presented, immaculately clean and had everything you would want. The pool area was lovely, as was the terraced garden full of fruit trees. Joseph was extremely friendly and generous. Nothing was too much trouble for him. From the villa, it was an easy drive to Trapani, Erice, St Vito lo Capo and Masala. We would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to visit this lovely area.

Summary: Joseph and Anna were so very helpful and accommodating, they were at the villa to greet us and even bought us a few bits of shopping to get started with. Joseph pointed us in the direction of some wonderful places to eat and to buy food. They are both lovely people; we arrived as strangers but left as friends. The villa itself is wonderful, with a garden surrounding it and amazing views of the sea, you feel like you’re in the middle of beautiful countryside, even though you’re only a short drive from Trapani and a short walk (but we always drove!) into town with a supermarket and great bakeries. The villa and grounds were spotless. The pool is fantastic! All your own to use, a good size for swimming and just splashing around! There is air con, but not really needed in the villa, it is very cool and a perfect place to escape once the sun gets too much! There are two large bedrooms, each with a comfortable double bed and one also has a single, the bathroom is brilliant, very large and has a wonderful shower. The kitchen has all the utensils you might need and the sitting room is spacious and comfy, the perfect spot for our movie nights! Thank you for such an amazing place, we can’t wait to come back!

Summary: (Destination - Sicily, reservation number HA-9LPHSS, period stay 15-19.08.2016) I have never seen so clean holiday house. The whole area: swimming pool, home interior – there is everywhere extremely cleaned. Nice the beginning of our stay, when we found a few things in the fridge (bottles juice, ice cream, cheese etc). Very sympathetic owner, nice view, great house, sicilian atmosphere, all made us happy during the stay in this villa. Thanks Joseph – we will return there again in next year!

Summary: We have rented many properties around the world, and Vila Girolama is absolutely one of the best. The villa is spacious, nicely furnished and very well maintained. A perfect place to relax. Our kids loved the big pool with the trampoline and the garden with fruit trees. Joseph and Anna were very friendly, great hosts and helped with everything you could imagine, including stroller, crib and high chair for our baby girl. They even ordered pizza to the villa for our late arrival. The villa is situated in the mountains just above the little village Bonagia where you find everything you need/want such as large supermarket, pharmacy, gelateria, etc. There is also a nice sandy beach suitable for small children in a few minutes drive by car. The area is not very touristy and we could always find good parking close to the beach. I can truly recommend a stay at this fantastic villa. Thank you Jospeh and Anna for a wonderful stay and everything you did for our family.
